Hi all,

I’d like to call your attention to important scholarship produced by Sara Ramirez Gomez (soon to be Dr. Sara Ramirez Gomez). Her thesis is available online here: https://books.ipskampprinting.nl/thesis/534893-Ramirez/ and describes multiple real-world examples of participatory mapping methods working with indigenous peoples in South America. These are some of the best examples out there in the literature.

After graduation, she is seeking opportunities to continue participatory mapping project work, including post-doc or NGO positions. Please contact her if you are aware of opportunities soi.sararamirez at gmail.com<mailto:soi.sararamirez at gmail.com>.
